Keto avocado, eggs & bacon

Just made breakfast :) Classic eggs & bacon, served with avocado and sauteed mushrooms. You may skip adding avocado or mushrooms, according to your taste [see recipe notes]. Enjoy!

2 bacon slice(s) (56 gr)

1 large egg(s) (50 gr)

0.5 avocado(s) (101 gr)

0.25 tbsp(s) olive oil (3 gr)

0.25 cup(s) white mushrooms, sliced (18 gr)


salt (to taste)

ground black pepper (to taste)



  1. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add the bacon slices
  2. Cook for 2 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired crispiness
  3. When ready, remove bacon to 1 serving dish(es)


  1. Crack the egg(s) in the skillet - add salt & pepper (to taste)
    • Bacon grease in the skillet should be ok to cook the egg(s). If needed, add a bit of olive oil
  2. Cover the skillet and let cook for 2-3 minutes, until the egg white is set & the yolk is still runny
    • Cook for more, if you don't prefer soft eggs
    • Alternatively, you may poach the egg(s)
  3. Remove the egg(s) to the serving dish(es)

Avocado (optional)

  1. Wash the avocado(s), cut in half, remove the seed and scoop out the flesh
  2. Cut each avocado half into slices, season with a bit of salt and place on the serving dish(es) too

Mushrooms (optional)

  1. Place a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil
  2. Slice the mushrooms and add in the skillet, when oil is heated
  3. Cook for about 5 minutes, until they are tender
  4. Lay on the serving dish(es) too and serve
