Keto baked spicy feta / Bouyiourdi
Bouyiourdi is an amazing oven-baked dish, with tomatoes, peppers and feta cheese, usually served as an appetizer. Traditionally, it is spicy, but -as all spicy dishes- you may have it as hot as you like. Enjoy it with your toasted keto bread!

Ingredients
180 gr tomatoes
150 gr feta cheese - regular or vegetarian
3 red hot chili pepper(s) (135 gr)
3 tbsp(s) olive oil (41 gr)
Seasoning
tsp(s) dried ground oregano
salt (to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
Optional
9 red pepper ring(s) (90 gr)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F
- Cut the tomatoes into slices and the feta cheese into 3 large chunk(s)
- Use 3 small baking dish(es) (or simply use aluminum foil) and lay half of the tomato slices at the bottom of each dish
- Place a chunk of feta cheese on top of the tomato slices
- Then, add the rest tomato slices on top of the feta cheese
- Add a red hot chili pepper in each baking dish
- or some chili powder
- Optional: add some red pepper* rings too
- Sprinkle the olive oil and season with oregano, salt & pepper (to taste)
- Bake for 15-20 minutes and serve while still warm

✔ Preferably use plum or classic tomatoes
✔ *You may use green, yellow, orange and/or red pepper
