Keto double bacon cheeseburger

This is a simple variation of our bacon cheeseburger recipe, in which we use 2 burger patties. Double the taste, double the pleasure!

Ingredients

Patties

0.5 medium red onion(s) (7 gr)

1 clove(s) of garlic (3 gr)

2 tbsp(s) fresh parsley, chopped (8 gr)

450 gr ground beef, grass-fed

1 large egg(s) (50 gr)

1 tbsp(s) olive oil (14 gr)

8 tbsp(s) almond flour (56 gr)

Seasoning

salt (to taste)

ground black pepper (to taste)

Buns

3 keto burger bun(s) (129 gr)

Fillings

6 bacon slice(s) (168 gr)

6 slice(s) cheddar cheese (126 gr)

Fillings - Optional

1.5 tsp(s) mustard (8 gr)

Instructions

Patties

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F
  2. Chop the onion(s), garlic & parsley and place in a mixing bowl
  3. Place all the rest ingredients & seasonings in the mixing bowl too and combine well
  4. Shape the mixture into 6 patties
  5. Lay the patties on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake for about 20 minutes, until they are golden brown
    • Flip them on the other side when side up is done

[In the meantime, cut the buns open and prepare the bacon, as described below]

  1. When patties are done:
    • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty (so to melt)
    • And then, place 2 patties on each bun, along with a bit of mustard (optional)

Bacon

  1. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add the bacon slices
  2. Cook for 2 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired crispiness
  3. Place 2 slices of bacon in each bun
