Keto eggs in bacon cups

Bacon cups, also called Canadian bacon cups, are one of my favorite choices for breakfast or snacking and I love that I can fill them with almost anything! In this simple recipe, we fill the bacon cups with eggs and optionally a bit of cheddar cheese. Enjoy!

0.5 tbsp(s) olive oil (7 gr)

8 bacon slice(s) (224 gr)

4 large egg(s) (200 gr)

salt (to taste)


2 tbsp(s) shredded cheddar cheese (14 gr)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F
  2. Grease 4 muffin cup(s) or small ramekin(s) with the olive oil
  3. Place a bacon slice at the bottom of each cup / ramekin and another bacon slice around each cup / ramekin to create the bacon cups
  4. Then, crack an egg in each cup and season with a bit of salt
  5. Optional - If you eat dairy: Add 1/2 tablespoon of cheddar cheese (or any cheese that melts well) on top of each egg
  6. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes, until egg whites are firm
