Keto French onion dip

Ingredients
0.5 medium red onion(s) (55 gr)
2 clove(s) of garlic (6 gr)
2 tbsp(s) unsalted butter (28 gr)
0.5 cup(s) sour cream (115 gr)
4 tbsp(s) cream cheese (58 gr)
Seasoning
3 tsp(s) onion powder (7 gr)
salt (to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Chop the onion & garlic and set aside, separately
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat
- Add the chopped onion and cook, until browned / caramelized - about 5 minutes needed
- Remove the onions from the skillet, place in a bowl and let them cool for a few minutes
- When cool, add the rest of the ingredients (don't forget the chopped garlic) in the bowl and mix well
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend. Overnight is even better!
