Keto lemon garlic shrimps

In this recipe, the shrimps are cooked in a lemon & garlic stock and they turn up juicy & tender. You may serve with zucchini noodles or simply dip your favorite keto bread in the juice. Enjoy!

450 gr frozen raw shrimps, peeled & deveined

salt (to taste)

ground black pepper (to taste)

2 clove(s) of garlic (6 gr)

2 tbsp(s) olive oil (27 gr)

1 tbsp(s) fresh parsley, chopped (4 gr)

1 lemon(s) juiced (48 gr)

1 cup(s) water (240 gr)


  1. Defrost the shrimps, by placing them in a bowl of water for 10 minutes
  2. Then, dry them with a towel and season with salt & pepper
  3. In the meantime, peel and chop the garlic
  4. Place a deep skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil & the garlic and stir with a wooden spoon
  5. When garlic begins to sizzle, add the shrimps
  6. Let them cook for 1-2 minutes (depending on the size of the shrimps) on each side
    • Use a fork or tongs to flip them
  7. Then, add the parsley, lemon juice & water and let the shrimps boil for 2-3 more minutes
    • You may optionally add some lemon slices in the skillet too
