Keto pepperoni pizza
This is a simple variation of our fresh mozzarella & pepperoni pizza, in which we substitute fresh mozzarella with shredded low-moisture mozzarella. The shredded mozzarella is one of the most common cheeses used for pizzas, as it melts perfectly and is delicious! You may use any cheese that melts well :)

Crust
1 almond flour dough (search for our recipe) (332 gr)
Sauce
0.5 cup(s) marinara sauce - no added sugar (132 gr)
2 tbsp(s) olive oil (27 gr)
0.5 tsp(s) dried ground oregano (1 gr)
0.5 tsp(s) dried ground thyme (1 gr)
salt (to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
Toppings
1.5 cup(s) shredded mozzarella (168 gr)
12 pepperoni slice(s) (24 gr)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F and prepare the pizza crust according to our "Almond flour dough" recipe
- Prep time: 10 minutes. Cook time: 12 minutes
- In a bowl, mix the marinara sauce* with the olive oil, oregano & thyme. Season with a bit of salt & pepper, if needed
- Using a spoon, spread the sauce evenly on the crust
- Spread the shredded mozzarella and top with the pepperoni slices
- Bake for 4-5 minutes using the oven broiler, until the mozzarella has melted
- Or for about 10 minutes in the oven
- Using a pizza cutter or a knife, cut the pizza into 6 pieces and serve
