Keto skillet lemon chicken drumsticks

This lemon chicken drumsticks recipe is easy to make and uses a few simple ingredients: olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt & pepper. You may accompany it with your favorite keto bread to dip in the lemon sauce. Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 tbsp(s) olive oil (27 gr)

4 chicken drumstick(s), with skin (444 gr)

salt (to taste)

ground black pepper (to taste)

0.5 cup(s) water (120 gr)

1 lemon(s) juiced (48 gr)

2 tsp(s) dried ground oregano (4 gr)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a deep skillet over medium heat
  2. Season the drumsticks with salt & pepper (to taste) and add in the skillet
  3. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until browned
  4. Add water (or chicken broth - search for our recipe!), lemon juice & oregano
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook covered for 10 minutes
  6. Then, flip the drumsticks, cover the skillet and cook for about 10 more minutes
    • until meat is cooked through
