Keto turkey burger patties or meatballs
Try out these delicious turkey burger patties or meatballs, prepared with onion, garlic, olive oil and herbs. They are easy to make, gluten and egg free, and -most importantly- tasteful!

Ingredients
0.5 medium red onion(s) (55 gr)
1 clove(s) of garlic (3 gr)
450 gr ground turkey
1.5 tbsp(s) olive oil (20 gr)
Seasoning
1.5 tsp(s) dried ground thyme (2 gr)
1.5 tsp(s) dried ground oregano (3 gr)
salt (to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
Preparation
- Peel and chop the onion(s) & the garlic
- I prefer to slightly mince all of them in a food processor
- In a bowl, hand-mix the chopped vegetables & the rest of the burger ingredients
- If the mixture feels too soft, add a bit of oats and mix again
- Shape 6 patty(ies) or about 15 - 18 meatballs
- as thin as possible
2 ways to cook

Skillet
- Brush a non-stick grill pan or skillet with olive oil and place over medium heat
- When heated, add the patties or meatballs
- Let them cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown

Oven
- Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F
- Brush a parchment paper with olive oil and place on a baking tray
- Add the patties or meatballs and place the tray in the oven
- Let them bake for about 15-17 minutes, until they are golden brown
- Then, flip them on the other side, using a turner spatula or tongs and let them bake for 5-7 more minutes
Notes
✔ Tip: bake / cook larger quantities and freeze them. They will be ok for 2-3 months. Simply defrost them when you want to consume them
